Scary

By Baker Jeff | September 18, 2008

I was listening to NPR today and there were some callers that supported Sara Palin simply because they said “I can relate to her, I’m a working mother” “I like her energy” “she’s hot” “I’ve raised kids” and some other crazy comments I can’t remember. That is scary.

What da F does that have to do with running the country?

Sarah Palin doesn’t have shit on Joe Bidens repertoire.

Lets compa
re Governor Sarah Palin to Senior Senator Joe Biden:

She’s been a Governor for less than 2 years in a small town in Alaska.
Her education: She attended Matanuska-Susitna College in Alaska for one term, returning to the University of Idaho to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in communications-journalism. Again Scary.

There is a 1 in 3 chance that McCain will not survive his first term. (True fact) Having her as a President is so scary.

Joe Biden has been involved in foreign policy since the 70’s.. and ran for president before, I think but backed out at the last min, due to funding.

More about Senior Sen. Joe Biden:
(please read, Can be verified on Wikipedia)

Biden is also a long-time member and current chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. In 1997, he became the ranking minority member and chaired the committee from June 2001 through 2003. When Democrats re-took control of the Senate following the 2006 elections, Biden again assumed the top spot on the committee in 2007. His efforts to combat hostilities in the Balkans in the 1990s brought national attention and influenced presidential policy: traveling repeatedly to the region, he made one meeting famous by calling Serbian leader Slobodan Milosevic a “war criminal.” Biden’s subsequent “lift and strike” resolution was instrumental in convincing President Bill Clinton to use military force in the face of systemic human rights violations.

Biden stated in 2002 that Saddam Hussein was a threat to national security, and that there was no option but to eliminate that threat. The Bush administration rejected an effort Biden undertook with Senator Richard Lugar to pass a resolution authorizing military action only after the exhaustion of diplomatic efforts. In October 2002, Biden voted in favor of the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq, justifying the Iraq War. He has long supported the appropriations to pay for the occupation, but has argued repeatedly that the war should be internationalized, that more soldiers are needed, and that the Bush administration should “level with the American people” about the cost and length of the conflict.

Barack Obama’s Education:
a Senator from Illinois; born in Honolulu, Hawaii, August 4, 1961; obtained early education in Jakarta, Indonesia, and Hawaii; continued education at Occidental College, Los Angeles, Calif.; received a B.A. in 1983 from Columbia University, New York City; worked as a community organizer in Chicago, Ill.

studied law at Harvard University, where he became the first African American president of the Harvard Law Review, and received J.D. in 1991; lecturer on constitutional law, University of Chicago; member, Illinois State senate 1997-2004; elected as a Democrat to the U.S. Senate in 2004 for term beginning January 3, 2005.

Please post your comments on this issue.

Don’t ignore the facts.

Thank you for your time on this matter. We have two very smart people running on the democratic ticket.

Ghalib Ali Hamid, the intelligence and internal affairs chief at the Baiji oil refinery in Iraq, was arrested on suspicion of skimming profits and having ties to insurgents.

BAIJI, Iraq — The Baiji refinery, with its distillation towers rising against the Hamrin Mountains, may be the most important industrial site in the Sunni Arab-dominated regions of Iraq. On a good day, 500 tanker trucks will leave the refinery filled with fuel with a street value of $10 million.

Ultimate Beach Snacks

By Baker Jeff | May 25, 2008

Experience the classic taste of Oreo in a soft snack cake – smooth, one-of-a-kind Oreo crème sandwiched between two luscious chocolate cakes. So rich, so moist, your whole family will love them. This is BIG!

Great for playing at the beach. 250 calories, 140mg of potassium, 36g of carbs and 2g of protein. Better than a snickers. I need that kinda energy I need at the beach!

Goldfish crackers are the best snack. Great for the beach. (Just wanted to write a post, not affiliated with Pepperidge farms in any manner.)
